Welcome to the N3RO scrapbook, covering almost 50 years of ham radio operating.
Feel free to poke around the site and view the pictures. On the Hamshack page you will be able to see pictures of my current hamstation in a photo album. On the Echolink page you can find pictures of my Linking setup and at the end are links to the FCC regulations regarding this form of amateur activity. A new page has been added to highlight the "new" VOIP ham system known as CQ-100 that turns your computer screen into a virtual HF transceiver! The Mobile page shows how I installed my Yaesu 8900 quad band rig in two vehicles: first, my 1995 Chevy Blazer and then in June 2007, my new 07 Blazer. Local hams in action are featured on the Public Service page with pictures of ARES/RACES and other general public service activities. A History page follows N3RO with shack pictures from the first shack as a teenager to the current shack of 2007. A page dedicated to my Other Hobbies includes pictures of my guitars and recording equipment. I have also added pictures of a Scuba Diving adventure off the coast of Bermuda. For those of you who have never visited Frederick, Maryland there is a page of Frederick Pictures taken from a helicopter in the Fall of 2006 to give you the flavor of our town. You will also find a memorial page called Silent Keys, to remember some of those whose keys have gone silent. A visit to the Time Machine page will carry you back from the present to 1978 with pictures of Frederick area hams as we remember them.
